Funniest Moment for me was when Heather Jenkins was singing a solo on a Sunday night and her slip fell down in front of everyone. To make matters even funnier- she kicked it off with her foot and it went flying down to the first row! LOL That was classic. I think this was in 2000.

i remember when someone real triflin wouldn't flush the toliet in the women dorm so everyone had to sign in to use the toilet every time they enter in the restroom.

oh my gosh!! just one?! well i have a couple-the first one was when dwayne was asking brother canfield a question-then made an example of him and i fornicating (of course we weren't)-needless to say my face turned beat red! another one was when we had a move of God and brother jordan body-slammed jeremy and layed hands on brandon with no catcher behind him! the boys head not only hit the cement not once-but twice! praise God-there was no damage to either!

Perhaps maybe not the funniest but powerful. Does anyone remember when Mama Parsley came to chapel and made all of the guys run after the devil and Dominon Hall became a race trac with all the males just running in a million diffrent directions!!!!

Anyone remember when Pastor and Mrs. Joni were doing the Family enrichment series and pastor came on stage with his zipper open. And than dedicated the "You are my best friend song to Mrs. Joni" there was not a dry eye in the house!!!!

This is the funniest moment I believe in the guy's dorms back in 2001. Bro Woods come to do a devotional he was preaching and carring on (YALL KNOW HOW HE DO)and what he was saying was good and we was praise God and jumping and shouting and he said, "All we need is a good spankin just the Lord. (Everybody was like YEAH!!!) He continued and said, "Say Spank Me Jesus." At the moment the shouts come down and everybody looked around eachother in confusion like, ??Spank Me Jesus??... The "spank me Jesus" was derived from Bro. Bender in the spring quater of 1999 during one of his moves of the Holy Ghost in Dominion Hall. Bro. Woods was a student at that time!!!!

One of the most memorable times was when we toilet papered Bro. Shivley, Sis. and Bro. Zeis, Bro. Canfield and the guys dorms and we got caught and had to right each of them a letter of apology.

Funniest moment I can remember was when Bro. Wood came to the Men's dorms and spend the night with all the guys. I think the fire alarms went off like 20 times. (Charles & Mobley)....Another funny moment had to be when a bunch of me and a bunch of guys including the RDA and RD pushed the upstairs furniture against Dan Jordan's and his roommate Ryan dorm room door. It was like 2 in the morning and we were all cracking up...Dan and Ryan didn't come out of their room for like an hour.

There are so many great times. One I would have to say is the night Bro. Moore was supposed to speak to us ladies in the dorms and he never came. While waiting the RA staff came out of the office and started singing church songs using pens, highlighters, and so forth as mikes. It was the funniest thing. Another time is when all the dorm students were going to the corn maze and we all got lost. We turned into what we thought was the place but it was someone's house and 7 cars we're driving through their property. It was the best time. We never did make it to the maze. Oh one more, one morning in Harvest Hall it was freezing and Bro. Bender had made a call to someone joking about the heat. So Miss Lindsey and Katie Lewis came into the class with paper, branches, and a liter to start a fire for us.

Mens dorm 2000 32 pizza pies arrived to the Dorm office and were ordered in brother Thomas's name. I remember all the RA's were running from room to room collecting money to pay for the pizza. All the guys were kept in the kitchen till 3am after many hours of repenting!

The funniest moment had to have been when Charles ran around the dorms completly naked (das a crazy boy) Or the funniest moment may have been when bro wood did that "spank me Jesus thing" Or when a bunch of guys went into stans room including Bro Duerre, hooper and amiar those, with mask and stuff late that night and scared the heck out of him Stan was like "Guys in the name of Jesus" yall should have seen the look on his face!

One of the funniest times is when shannon young tried out for the variety show in "02"when he atempted to do lyrical dance for the try outs.That was so funny i was outside on the floor with another person (u know who u r)rollin around in laughter.Then when we tried to go back in with straight faces we ran out about 3 more times and laughed and rolled some more.Another time is when we had a chapel there was a spirit of sprinting in that mug and it jumped on two people that caught my attention (tj)terrance singlton &david ferguson(memp)they ran around hollerin and pumpin there fist in the air like it was a black panthers rally.That was funny then a mug.(More power to the people tj and d ferg).

One of the funniest moments I can remember is when Bro. Bobby was the RD and he made all of the guys in the dorm get out in the middle of the night (like 1 am I think), in January 2001 with 1 foot of snow on the ground and pray around the women's dorm. We probably stayed out there for about 20 minutes walking around the whole dorm. The next day at school, all the girls looked at us like we were complete idiots, and that is what we felt like. Bro. Bobby never knew this, but alot of the guys thought he was nuts for doing that!
One of the most powerful moments was in Ms. Burgess' Major/Minor Prophets class when we did the foot washing. That was powerful and awesome!

it was back in the fall of 2000-i had my big boat for a car-in my car was roscoe, russ, janet and xavie-we were driving around canal winchester and i came to a complete stop on wright road where the corn fields are...roscoe and russ were freaking out because of "children of the corn" well we came back to the dorms and john ("ken doll") and i believe durree came up to my car and was talking to us-russ and roscoe were not paying attention at all-so i said, "hey look-children of the corn!" john was making this crazy freaky face with his blonde hair-blue eyes-and the guys screamed like girls and jumped so high they hit their heads on the roof of my car! russ jumped out of my car and was chasing john around the field-it was so funny to see a black boy chase a white boy around!! i was weak!! russ never caught john-but it was a must had to have been there!!

Remember when Tim had his early morning breakfeast and set the fire alarms off. I DO!!!!! Do you know what it's like to be in shorts and a t-shirt for 2 hours in ohio in the dead of winter.I DO!!! I used some choice words that day. %$#$%$# and m%$%%$ and ^^$$#####

(2000-2001 School Year) CHAPEL: Worship service was off the hook and the anointing was so heavy. Keith Dobbins whispers,"Listen.........listen..........do you hear it.......listen." Everyone stops worshipping and looks as the college choir busts out in some old accapella choral song. Listen, listen, Listen........Somebody's knocking at your door...etc." The look on everyone's faces were priceless. One question Bro. Dobbins WHY?!?!?!??!??

Miss Pack in a pool of jello... ummm... Bro. Canfield IN GENERAL... The leadership in the women's dorm singing with highlighters while waiting for Bro Moore to show up (which he NEVER did...) The dead pig at the turnaround in front of the dorms (not necessarily the most comical, but deffinately not something you can easily forget about... WH was full of comical memories.

Whoever said the "listen, listen,listen..." comment, I must agree that is one of the funniest memories of WHBC. People were getting their breakthroughs and that song just changed the atmosphere.
Another funny memory was when Brother Canfield rapped at Campmeeting about the merchandise. That was wrong on so many levels.

It was Marriage & Family '02....and Brother Canfield was getting excited about something...I really don't think a lot of people were paying attention...but he took one step forward-pointed his finger-tilted his head to the side (you know how he does)paused and took one step back and stood there...we all looked at each other because he got our attention by what he had said...and started to die in laughter-because it seemed as if he was about ready to curse!! And of course he threw in his famous "Bless God" and began to do his chuckle!!! It was so funny that it took a couple minuets to compose ourselves!! We all couldn't believe it and we were like the "fourth part of the trinity" almost cursed!

Ok, I guess I was there before most of you guys (96-98) but the funniest moment for me was at a men's dorm meeting with Bro Bender in spring 97. At the end of the meeting, He asked if there were any other concerns and one of the RA's said "self-sex"!
Bro Bender replies, "Du what?"
"self-sex, you know, masturbation..."
Bro Bender paused for a moment and then stated enthusiastically "Get a hold of it!"
The room erupted in laughter. Bro Bender turned a shade of red as he quickly recovered with "I mean, stop gettin' a hold of it!"

What about the time Brother Bobby had the men outside praying against the "witches of the night" for a long period of time, and later we found out the "e-vil witches" were turkeys mating in the field?? (murray 02)

There are two many memories to tell them all...but one of my favorites is when I was sitting on the toilet in the women's dorms and seeing something out of the corner of my eye. I looked and I saw a mouse running right towards me and there was nothing I could do except scream. I scared the mouse so bad it literally ran backwards and disappeared before I could get to it. My worst memory is probably the night all the ra's in the women's dorms had to stay up all night to put together my closet that I had to go get from Walmart. It wouldn't have been so bad, but that was the night before new students started moving into the dorms. The next day Pastor Parsley came by to take a look at the dorms and was very hot at how bad the dorms had been attended to (not our fault, but anyway.) After he walked through the entire girl's dorms, we had to do a spring cleaning while helping new girls move in...it was so bad!! Expecially b/c we were all dead tired. Of course, by the time Pastor got to the guy's dorms he didn't feel like tearing their's apart like ours...they got of so easy!

OK so the women's dorm night when Bro. Moore was supposed to come & we came out w/highlighters-- loved it! Still laugh about that.
Bro. Abraham about the guys' morning wake-up-- "And I don't wanna hear nothin about no arsonist LaRue!" I heard he was so mad b/c it was his fault.
Guys praying around the women's dorm w/Bro. Bobby-- what some of the girls *didn't* tell you guys is that we wanted to be right out there prayin' with you but we weren't allowed.
Bro. Canfield at 2001 grad practice-- "Patience is a fruit of the spirit people, but I'm running out of it!" And I love the 4th person of the Trinity jokes-- he is probably still the one person i admire most at WHBC.
Heather losing her slip- priceless.
Women's dorms w/Brenda 99-- remember having to sit in the kitchen all night until someone would fess up to leaving their dirty dishes out??!?!?
Collin Weekes told a story about swaying in the WHC choir during worship after they built the new choir loft thing-- and the woman next to him would get so mad b/c she thought he was going to break the thing and they were all going to fall down!
And the variety show one year-- katie and collette doing the students who don't do anything & bro. canfield reading that dr. suess book!

I remember when me and a buddy broke in to Tim LaRue's room and put some x-lax in his milk. He had the runs for a whole week. No one ever knew. Until now.........

I'll never forget the time I talked my roomate 'Chris Lewis' into sleeping on the top bunk bed. He really didn't want to, but after much persuasion he did. That night he rolled of the top bunk! =) He was in so much pain that he just laid on the floor til morning!=)

Being the class of the WHBC dormitory guinea pigs! I was in the first year that the WHBC dorms were available. It was hilarious! We overflowed the septic system on the first night of occupancy. Hopefully we got to work out most of the "bugs" that year!
